m.mult

m.mult (mega mult) is now available as an assembled module.

m.mult

What is m.mult.

m.mult is a 8hp signal multiplier module for Eurorack synthesiser setups.

There are 3 signal input channels – a, b and c.
The IN signal is cascading, starting with channel a. If nothing is plugged into b or c, the signal from a is sent to all 12 OUTs and the additional attenuverted OUTs.
Plugging a different signal into b – sends it to the 4 b OUTs and all c OUTs etc.
So, there’a a plethora of signal combinations certain to cover most of your mult requirements. a to 12, a to 8 and c to 4, a to 4 and b to 8 etc.

Channels a and c have additional attenuverters allowing for a copy of the signals to be attenuated, inverted and attenuated+inverted. The OUTs have two opposite polarities, don’t tell me you need MORE! 😉

CENTRALA

The new, through-hole, DIY kit “CENTRALA” is available for sale now.

What is CENTRALA?

Assembled CENTRALA

A top secret device classified for 75 years and recently declassified by unruhe modular.
It’s a 4 in 1 Eurorack, CV and audio processing module.

  1. Amplifier – general purpose amplifier / attenuator for audio and CV. You can select a value of one of the resistors to set the amplification ratio.
Comes with a shared LED peak indicator for +5V (Euro audio) and +10V (CV) levels.
  2. Attenuverter with offset. Uses the shared LED peak indicators)
  3. “Transmiter” – fully buffered, cascading signal mult. 3 INs, 6 OUTs with each cannel receiving the signal from the previous channel, switchable by pugging a new signal in.
  4. “Wonkyfier” – a CV controlled offset, with attenuators for both the the signal and the wonker.
At a quick look it seems to be a mixer, but no – the wonker offsets the signal, so the effects are more exciting and can be quite unusual.
    +10V peak indicator.
When used carefully (due the DC offset issues) the Wonkyfier can be used on audio signals as well, introducing all sorts of wried and wonderful effects.

It’s a simple, through-hole kit.
Useful and a great DIY early project.
The kit includes all hardware components, a 20cm power cable, the PCB layout leaflet for ticking off components as you solder and info on the “tricky bits”.

Please note that due to orders being stuck at strange locations, the knobs may differ from the pic.

ARCM is (almost) ready.

A Rather Clever Mixer – ARCM is ready and being tested by a Human, Tom Human

It’s a 4hp 2x stereo or, configurable by a jumper, 4x mono channels mixer.
In mono mode both OUTs send two, identical mono signals, in stereo, they are Left and Right.

This one is bound to satisfy any GAS needs.
Early days, but the work is progressing nicely.

Each channel will be built on a separate PCB for ease of any repairs, just swap one board and we are ready to play.
Overall the size will be 8*6hp+the output section TBA

Expressions of interest for early testing are welcome.
